Description	PLEASE CHECK YOUR OLD FUSER PART NUMBER BEFORE ORDERING. The fuser maintenance kit contains the fuser, 3 pick rollers, a transfer roller and 3 separation rollers. Recommended replacement every 225,000 pages*. Replacing fuser maintenance kits. There are multiple warnings to indicate that the fuser is nearing end of life and that a maintenance kit is required, Check the error code and contact a Lexmark authorised dealer or service centre such as InkMasters. The code will inform you the fuser has reached its rated life and the printer stops until a maintenance kit is installed. You must install the correct Fuser Maintenance Kit for the type of fuser that is installed in the printer. Check the 2 digit type code on the fuser, or check Device Information using the embedded web server or the menus page for a replacement part number. To identify the fuser type, open door A, and then remove the toner cartridge and imaging unit. Find the two‑digit fuser type in front of the fuser, for example, 00 or 01.(Warning—Potential Damage: Do not expose the imaging unit to direct light for more than 10 minutes. Extended exposure to light may cause print quality problems.) Using certain types of paper may require more frequent replacement of the maintenance kit. The separator assembly, fuser, pick roller assembly, and transfer roller are included in the maintenance kit and can be ordered individually and replaced if necessary.
